KL Rahul and Virat Kohli's impressive partnership, along with a useful cameo by Ravindra Jadeja took India to a hefty total of 364 in their first innings, despite Rahkeem Cornwall shining for WICB with a 5-wicket haul. With a 158-run lead, India head into the final day in the driving seat.

Brief Scores: WICB XI 180 all out and 26/1 in 7.6 overs (Leon Johnson 17(27); R Ashwin 1/14) against India 364 all out in 105.4 overs (KL Rahul 64(127), Ravindra Jadeja 56(61); Rahkeem Cornwall 5/118)

India resumed their innings from the overnight score of 93/3 with KL Rahul and Virat Kohli at the crease. The duo formed an 88-run partnership to put their team in a strong position in the game, with both Rahul and Kohli reaching their half-centuries. However, after the former retired out at 64, WICB spinner Rahkeem Cornwall started to trouble the batsmen.

Cornwall trapped Kohli in front of the wicket, and then went on to claim the wickets of both Ajinkya Rahane and Stuart Binny. However, Wriddhiman Saha and Ravindra Jadeja provided a decent rearguard action with the southpaw playing an aggressive knock of 56, from just   61 deliveries. In the end, India managed an impressive first innings total of 364, on what was a slow wicket, with Cornwall starring for the hosts with a 5-wicket haul.
