Left-arm spinner Axar Patel has reached a career-best ninth position in the newly released ICC rankings for bowlers in One-day Internationals. Man of the series Amit Mishra has also jumped 25 places in the rankings to be ranked as 12th alongside Dale Steyn.

Despite picking only four wickets in the series against New Zealand, Axar Patel got a promotion of five places to enter the top-ten chart for the first time in his career.
