Tendulkar sees 500-test wickets acquiring potential in Kuldeep Yadav

The 25th of March 2017 was a date that Kuldeep Yadav made his test debut and made a defining impact straightaway with his wonderful variations. The brilliant performance was noticed by the legend Sachin Tendulkar himself and he made it a point to give some valuable advice to the youngster.
Kuldeep Yadav's debut has gone down as one of the most successful test debuts by an Indian bowler in history. He turned the match around for India single-handedly and destroyed the Aussies with his chinaman variations.He finished with figures of 4/68 in the first innings and the first ever chinaman bowler for India started his career in the best possible way.
His phone might have been ringing all evening with congratulatory calls and messages but the one call that made his day even more special was the call from the cricketing God himself, Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin called the interim captain Ajinkya Rahane and sought for Yadav.Â

The legend asked him to keep up the good work and beware of the temptations that come with the success and be focused on the game.
Yadav quoted,"Besides asking me to keep working hard, Sir cautioned that I shouldn't be tempted by anything and that I must be careful with the rush of people wanting a piece of me, Most of all, Sir asked me to aim for 500 Test wickets.
Kuldeep expressed that it was a huge honor to receive such praiseworthy words from the cricketing legend.Â

The chinaman bowler met Sachin face to face during the match between Mumbai Indians Vs Kolkata Knightriders on April 9th and was congratulated once again by the cricketing phenom. Tendulkar further introduced him to Nita Ambani informing her that the 22-year old had started his IPL career with the Mumbai side.Â

Kuldeep was picked by the Mumbai scouts after he was spotted in a U-19 game at Wankhede. He spent two years with the Mumbai side but did not get an opportunity to play a single match in the blue jersey, but he gained quite a lot by staying amongst the most honorable names in cricket.Â
Yadav in the expressed joy about his relationship with the legend and stated that Tendulkar had an attachment with him. We definitely hope he achieves the 500-test wicket feat and makes Tendulkar and the cricketing nation of India proud. Â Â
