Ravindra Jadeja misfired a delivery in the 58th over which bounced twice before beating the batsman Peter Handscomb and reaching Wriddhiman Saha’s gloves. Somehow, it fooled umpire Nigel Llong as well, who decided not to call it a no-ball or a wide ball amid laughs all around the pitch.

In the first delivery of the 58th over, the ball stuck to Jadeja’s palm and got released a lot later than he had wanted it to. The ball, wide outside the off-stump, bounced twice before reaching Peter Handscomb. The Australian went for an expansive cover drive and missed the ball completely before Saha caught it behind the stumps.

The Indian wicketkeeper was about to go for an appeal for caught behind before realizing what had happened. As the bowler and the batsman broke into laughter, English umpire Nigel Llong surprisingly decided not to call a no ball or a wide ball.
