While the world knows AB de Villiers as the player who is an exceptional talent, yesterday, he managed to pull off a catch that left even the great South African skipper in shock. Against England with visibility being quite poor, de Villiers was able to take a catch trusting his instincts purely.

With England needing just 13 runs off eight balls after Eoin Morgan had smashed a Dane Paterson delivery past de Villiers, standing at mid on, for a boundary, South Africa looked to be trouble. However, on the fifth ball of the 19th over, Paterson bowled a low full toss at Morgan, who in turn tried to loft it over mid-on. The ball caught the lower end of the bat and ended up in the hands of the South African skipper at mid on.

While the catch appeared to be an easy one, de Villiers' reaction told a completely different story. After taking the catch, the South African captain stood there shocked and was seen mouthing the words, "I didn't see it." While that might seem like an exaggeration, it was not. The commentators confirmed that the visibility was indeed poor due to the heavy cloud cover.

South Africa eventually ended up winning the match by three runs and tied the series at one-game apiece.

De Villiers has already shown that there isn't anything that he can't do with the bat, but this catch might just be the final proof that he might not actually be human.
