In an interview with Aparshakti Khurana, Virat Kohli picked Mohammad Amir as the most dangerous bowler that he has faced recently. Recently in a Twitter Q&A session, Amir had been asked who he thought was the best batsman in the world right now, the pacer responded by naming Kohli as his choice.

Virat Kohli has always been a straight shooter and is very candid about what happens on the cricket field. When it comes to his opinion he doesn't shy away from speaking his mind, be it calling Steve Smith a cheater during DRS-gate or crediting his opponents for playing well, he has always been honest. So when he while doing an interview alongside Aamir Khan, he was asked about who was the bowler he would feel nervous against and the Indian skipper was candid as ever.

“In the recent times, Mohammad Amir of Pakistan. He is in the top two or three bowlers in the world and the toughest bowlers I have played in my career. You have to be on your ‘A’ Game when you’re facing him or he will strike. Oustanding! Very good bowler!” Kohli replied.

Kohli faced off with Amir at the 2016 Asia Cup where the Pakistani pacer had decimated the Indian top order with an exceptional spell of fast bowling. But Kohli held the fort and guided India to victory but after the game was quick to praise the youngsters' spell. Amir got the better of Kohli in the Champions Trophy final where he again went through the Indian top order to set up a win for his side.

There has been a lot of mutual respect between the duo and recently when Amir was asked who the best batsman in the world was, he didn't hesitate in saying that he personally believed it was Virat Kohli.
