Unlike the first Test, there have been no signs of assistance for the spinners in the second Test between Bangladesh and Australia, but when the opportunity came calling, Mushfiqur Rahim messed that up. The wicket-keeper failed to effect a stumping despite David Warner being way outside his crease.
The first day of the Chittagong Test ended with both Bangladesh and Australia on an even keel with the hosts scoring 253 for 6. Nathan Lyon picked up five of the six wickets fallen on the day one before adding two more to his tally on the second day to end up with a seven-wicket haul.
