There’s nothing we can do with what’s happened with David Warner, says Tom Moody
Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody admits that there was nothing they could do to get David Warner to be a part of the 2018 squad and have hence moved on from the incident for good. Moody added that the SRH is under good-quality leadership due to the presence of Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson.

However, SRH coach Tom Moody admitted that there was not much that the team could have done to get Warner to be a part of the squad after his ban was sanctioned. Moody added that the team has moved on from the whole issue and is focusing on the upcoming season under the leadership of Kiwi captain Kane Williamson.
“Strategically, Kane’s very, very sound. He reads the game very well. He has played an important role for the Sunrisers over the last couple of years as an assistant even though he was not a noted leader, named vice-captain or anything. He showed his leadership in support to David Warner in the last few years and clearly showed that not only is he a natural leader but he’s someone who’s prepared to step up and stand out when it comes to that.
