Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Billy Stanlake has been ruled out of the remainder of this IPL season with a fractured finger. The 23-year-old quick from Queensland, who has played four games in this season, has suffered a fracture on his little finger on the right hand and will be replaced soon.

This IPL season has been plagued with a number of injuries. A lot of overseas fast bowlers have dominated that injury list and have been ruled out of the season and the latest to be ruled out is Billy Stanlake due to a fractured finger.Ā

Stanlake, who is 6 foot 7 inches tall, was bought at his base price of Rs 50 lakh by Sunrisers Hyderabad and played four games this season. He has been one of SRHā€™s lead bowlers where he has picked up 5 wickets.Ā

SRH are already without the services of skipper David Warner who has been banned for 12 months by Cricket Australia. Alex Hales was named as the Australian left-handerā€™s replacement.Ā As of now, SRH have not named any replacement for Stanlake, who made a very good pair with Bhuvneshwar Kumar andĀ stepped up to fill in when the Indian pacer was out with a sore back.

However, the Hyderabad-based side have a good pace attack and have filled their side with the likes of good Indian pacers and also have Chris Jordan and Carlos Brathwaite in the ranks.Ā
