346 cricketers from various countries finalized to take part in IPL auction

A total of 346 cricketers have been included in the list prepared of the players who will go under the hammer to take part in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. A total of nine players, none of them Indian, have put themselves on offer at the highest base price of two crore rupees.

Brendon Mccullum, Lasith Malinga and D’Archy Short are few players have made themselves available for the auctions of the twelfth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). All the aforementioned players have put themselves up for the highest base price of INR. 2 crore.

There are a total of 346 players who will be on offer for the franchises to grab and include in their respective squads. Out of the 346 players, 226 players will be from India. Pacer Jaydev Unadkat, who had fetched a whopping 11.5 crores in the last auctions, will be highest base Indian player to start with a base price of 1.5 crores.

Among the 19 players who have listed themselves at INR. 1 Crore base, there are only four Indians - Yuvraj Singh, Wriddhiman Saha, Mohammed Shami and Axar Patel. The last date for the franchises to show interest in a particular player and inform the BCCI was on December 10th. The auctions for the twelfth season of the lucrative league will be held on December 18th.
