After losing the last-ball thriller to Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals skipper Ajinkya Rahane has commented that he thought 150 was a low score on yesterday’s Jaipur wicket. Rahane has credited the Rajasthan bowlers and said that the batsmen could have done better to get around 170.
After scoring only 151 runs, Rajasthan Royals still managed to take the game till the final over where Mitchell Santner struck a six to win it for the Super Kings. The bowlers started off well as Dhawal Kulkarni picked up the wicket of Shane Watson in the first over to give the initial breakthrough for the hosts.
The visitors were reduced to 24/4 inside the powerplay period and MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu pulled the team out of troubled waters with a good stand for the fifth wicket.
