After their loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Suresh Raina has stated that MS Dhoni is recovering from back spasms and he might turn back for next game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Chennai Super Kings vice-captain has also added that SRH loss is a good wake up call for the team.

Chennai Super Kings have registered their second loss in their ninth match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Even though they underwent terrible six-wicket loss against SRH, the team still stands in the first position on the points table. CSK skipper MS Dhoni was ruled out from this match on yesterday due to the back spasm and Suresh Raina had to take over the role.

The team could only maintain a run rate of 6.4 throughout the course of the game and they were eventually restricted for 132. SRH made them reach the target in 16.5 overs with 19 balls to spare.

After this terrible defeat, Raina stated that this is a good wake up call for the team and they will perform well in the upcoming matches.

"I think it is a very good wake up call. I think we didn't put a decent score on the board and kept losing wickets. We lost too many wickets in between and that's why it cost us the game,” Raina said in the post-match presentation.

When asked about MS Dhoni, Raina said that he is recovering from his back spasms and might return to the team for the next game against RCB.

"He (Dhoni) is feeling better. His back was stiff and he might play the next game," Raina added.
