After SRH lost their game against RR, Kane Williamson has stated that it is important for the players to learn from the mistakes that they are committing during a game. Williamson also praised Manish Pandey for another fifty in the league by saying that the Indian is playing with freedom.

Rajasthan Royals chased down the target of 161 quite easily in 19.1 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday in Jaipur as Jaydev Unadkat starred with the ball and on the field for the home team. Batting first, the Sunrisers were off to a great start but couldn’t capitalize on that as they lost wickets at regular intervals towards the end and scored only 160. However, the target was enough to take the game into the final over for RR to chase it down.

After the end of the game, Kane Williamson mentioned that Hyderabad were not able to get breakthroughs and the players needed to learn from their mistakes to do well.

“It was quite difficult out there. It was potentially a competitive total at the halfway stage. They did better than us. They kept wickets in hand, we couldn't get those breakthroughs and squeeze. It's important to learn from our mistakes,” Williamson said during the post-match presentation.

Manish Pandey has been in sublime form for the Hyderabad unit in their last two matches as he got scores of 83* and 61 respectively against Rajasthan and Chennai Super Kings. It was Pandey’s knock that ensured the visitors get a good foundation while batting first. Pandey had scored 61 off 36 yesterday before being picked up by his Ranji Trophy teammate Shreyas Gopal. Williamson spoke about the Karnataka batsman saying that he is playing with freedom.

“We know we can get better. He's (Manish Pandey) playing with freedom. Couple of great performances, let's hope that continues. It is a very fine line in this game. It is important to move forward,” expressed the SRH skipper.

“We were always considering those options (sixth bowler). We thought it would reverse. It was best option to stick with five, wasn't to be tonight. Good performance from Rajasthan. Always good to play at home. Hopefully, we put up a good performance.”
