India’s left-handed all-rounder Krunal Pandya expressed his satisfaction over his overall contributions to India’s 3-0 clean sweep series win over West Indies. Pandya was awarded the Man of the Series for his all-round performance – with bat and ball – throughout the T20I series.

In what turned out to be a fairly easy – and lacklustre – T20I series, it was the senior Pandya brother who stood out with decent contributions in all three departments of the game. His best came in the second match, when he struck some lusty blows late in the innings to propel India to 167. Later, the spinner took two crucial wickets to help India clinch the match and the series.

"Quite satisfying and obviously won the series and to contribute in a winning cause is a good feeling. The focus is to improve every day and I am not thinking much about anything, just trying to focus on getting better," Krunal said at the press conference, reported India Today.

Krunal and his brother, Hardik Pandya – who was given a rest by the BCCI for this – have shared the dressing room with West Indian giant Kieron Pollard during the IPL. At the conference, he further shed light on his camaraderie with his Mumbai Indians teammate.

"He (Pollard) is like a brother to me and playing against him, he knows my strength and I know his strength. I guess whoever uses his brain (when asked who gets the better of who)," Krunal added.

India completed a 3-0 whitewash over West Indies by clinching a 7-wicket win in the final T20I in Guyana on Tuesday. The win came courtesy of splendid new-ball bowling performance by Deepak Chahar, before half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant helped chase down the target (146) comfortably.
