Natalie Sciver and Sarah Taylor, while batting for Surrey in the KSL, were seen celebrating in the middle of the pitch as news broke of the menā€™s win over Australia in the third Ashes Test. The crowd erupted as soon as they learnt of the victory before the girls joined in by pumping their fists.

The whole world on Sunday witnessed the finish to one of the most thrilling Test matches ever as England came back from a point where the match looked done and dusted to ultimately clinch a narrow victory over their archrivals, courtesy Ben Stokes' valiant knock of 135 not out.Ā

However, womenā€™s team internationals Nat Sciver and Sarah Taylor missed out on the opportunity to watch the moment live, as they were out on the field for Surrey Stars batting against Western Stormā€™s bowlers in the Kia Super League. Yet, the duo did not shy away from celebrating the unexpected win in front of the whole world.Ā

While having a conversation in the middle of the pitch with four and a half overs bowled, suddenly a largeĀ sectionĀ of the crowd in Guildford broke out into a loud cheer before everyone else in the stadium joined in. Moments later, the two women punched the air in delight several times, visibly pleased with the outcome and unable to contain their joy. They shared a jubilant fist bump before returning to their respective ends of the crease, ready to resume play.
