There is hardly anyone who can question MS Dhoni’s cricketing acumen and he proved that time and again. Dhoni had anticipated a ball of turning away from Bhuvneshwar Kumar at point after the ball came off the outside half of the bat but Bhuvi didn’t understand that and ended up misfielding the ball.

Australia was batting first against the Indians in the second ODI of the three-match series and they were 149/4 in the 32nd over of the innings which was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. We all know that how Dhoni has helped players like Kuldeep and Yuzvendra Chahal by guiding them from behind the stumps about different batsmen and kind of deliveries to be bowled against them. Today, it was Shaun Marsh who was on strike against Yadav but Dhoni had a piece of advice not for the bowler but for the fielder at point.

Yadav bowled a loopy ball to the left-hander to which Marsh came on the front foot to play it but he didn’t get the connection right on that occasion. The ball went off the outside half of the bat towards the backward point region where Bhuvneshwar Kumar was placed. Dhoni shouted “Ghumega” (the ball will turn) which was recorded in the stump mic. But the fielder failed to understand the instruction from Dhoni and he put in the dive and made a mess of it. If only a team had eleven Dhonis, we would easily get to witness a perfect game.
