Jason Holder rued his team's missed opportunities in yesterday's disappointing seven-wicket loss to Bangladesh saying that they will have to play every remaining game like it's a final. Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das starred with the bat as Bangladesh claimed a memorable win in Taunton on Monday.

Bangladesh pulled off a stunning seven-wicket win against Jason Holder-led West Indies on Monday to move to fifth spot in ICC World Cup 2018 standings behind hosts England. Meanwhile, the Caribbean outfit were at the receiving end of yet another defeat and find themselves in the seventh spot having won just one of their five matches at the ongoing global showpiece.

Holder, who scored a 15-ball 33 in yesterday's match, admitted that his team have underperformed so far in the World Cup and will have to play every remaining match like it's a final in the coming weeks.

"It's looking tough at this present moment, but it's not impossible. We have to play every game here now as a final. We've got to win every game left to give ourselves a really good chance," Holder said at the post match conference on Monday.

West Indies take on New Zealand and India, who look to be at the top of their game at present. The Jamaica boys have to beat those two teams in order to remain in contention for a spot in the semis.

"We've got to beat the best teams. We've got to back ourselves and be more clinical with the ball.

"A few top edges didn't go our way, but we didn't help ourselves as well. We've also got to score more runs because we haven't got a batsman with a hundred yet. I thought with the pitch dimensions we could have got 365-375 but we were well short, 40 or 50 runs," Holder added.
