Virat Kohli was very livid with the fact that DRS is not consistent on a regular basis which has resulted in Ashton Turner getting a huge reprieve last night. However, Turner, who took the game away from India single-handedly, has later clarified that he hadn’t nicked that Kedar Jadhav delivery.
DRS has been consistently under the scanner in this series, with the ball-tracking technology showing a clear error in Aaron Finch dismissal in the Ranchi ODI. The ball was pitched in the middle and off, but the ball tracking showed that it was landed on the leg, making the technology a less reliable one.

"But the DRS call was a bit of surprise for all of us and it's becoming a more of a talking point every game, it's just not consistent at all, that was a game-changing moment," Kohli said in the post-match presentation, reported Cricbuzz.
However, Turner clarified that he was sure about the fact that he hadn’t nicked at all despite admitting that his heart raced when he saw the inconsistent spike in the big screen.
"There were a few close calls and I know that I didn't nick that one. That went upstairs, my heart raced a little bit when I saw it on the big screen..." clarified Ashton Turner in the post-match presentation.
However, Kohli’s anger might have stemmed from the fact that earlier in the innings, an LBW decision was overturned in favour of the Aussies. Although Kumar Dharmasena ruled Usman Khawaja out after Kedar Jadhav’s delivery hit him on the pads, the ball-tracking showed that it missed the stumps by a mile.
