Jaydev Unadkat has hit back at trolls after poor season, but promised that he would come back stronger in the next season and will try to close down the margin. The Rajasthan Royals pacer has also added that he has always been able to come back stronger from every downfall and will do it again.

Jaydev Unadkat was Rajasthan Royals’ most expensive buy last season, but he couldn’t live up to the expectations for the second year bagging just 10 wickets in 11 games at an average of 39.80 and economy of 10.66. The expensive bowling displays made him a regular feature in Instagram memes, and understandably that hurt Unadkat. That was evident as he took to Twitter to apologise for his slump and pledged to improve going forward.

Rajasthan Royals ended with 11 points from 14 matches and secured the seventh position on the points table and Unadkat, the most expensive Indian player in the team, was the reason behind the loss as the team failed to have a dependable Indian bowler to bowl in the death. In the two matches that Rajasthan Royals played against Chennai Super Kings, Unadkat was at the receiving end of MS Dhoni rampage, giving away as many as 28 and 24 runs respectively.
