Serie A champions Juventus are keen to bring Christian Eriksen to Italy and are ready to offer Adrien Rabiot as a part of a swap deal. Eriksen’s contract expires next summer and Tottenham do not want their playmaker to leave on a free transfer and are willing to accept a £30 million bid.

Adrien Rabiot has struggled for playing time since his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain and is behind the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Aaron Ramsey in the pecking order. Maurizio Sarri prefers others over the Frenchman and has deemed him surplus to requirements. Daily Mail’s report states that Juventus hopes that a Rabiot plus cash deal will work to lure Christian Eriksen to the club.

The Old lady are ready to launch a bid for the Danish playmaker in the January transfer window as Juve try to go all out to strengthen an already strong squad. Eriksen will be able to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1 as he enters the final 6 months of his contract. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is desperate to cash in on their star midfielder and the Daily Mail has further reported that he is willing to accept a bid in the range of £30 million.

However, instead of signing him on a free at the end of the season, Juventus may look to avoid the risk of losing out on the playmaker and will instead make a move before then. This deal would see Rabiot’s six-month spell in Turin end and he would move to the Nort Londoners who are struggling this season. Apart from Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United to have been interested in the 27-year-old playmaker.

Manchester United reportedly saw their bid rejected as Daniel Levy held on £60 million value over the summer. German champions Bayern Munich too have joined the race as reports of Bayern representatives making contact with players agent have started surfacing. Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation but Eriksen is thought to prefer waiting until the summer when his negotiating position is stronger as a free agent.
