Another exhausting International break is over, but few things ignite a football fan like the first Premier League weekend after an international break. One big BIG SIX clash this week as Liverpool battle the Red Devils, the Toffees take on West Ham and Newcastle United pay a visit to Chelsea.
The Premier League is finally back after a two-week international break but we haven’t been starved of football. Far from it with Germany, Italy and even Spain all in action but there is nothing like club football and it’s back with an absolute bang especially in England, Spain, Germany, France and Italy. Manchester United host Liverpool in an incredible battle and it should be an absolute cracker-jack of a game. The Reds are looking to equal Manchester City's winning record and to do it against Manchester United would be the cherry on the cake.
Nothing can beat the drama of the Premier League and that’s not all. Tottenham battle Watford looking for a comeback battle, Burnley visit a Leicester City side in form, Everton faces West Ham in the second-best battle of this weekend and in a bid to get their season back on track. Not just that a loss to West Ham could see Marco Silva become the second manager in England. Before Arsenal finally, end Gameweek 9's incredible weekend with a visit to Bramall Lane and a battle against Sheffield United.
But if English football isn’t for you, then the Bundesliga is already off and kicking, but league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach battle Borussia Dortmund, in Spain, Atletico Madrid look to get back in the title race against Valencia, in Italy, Lazio and Atalanta battle each other and in France, Marseille looks to get their season back on track against Strasbourg.
