Liverpool star Sadio Mane has opened about his life at Anfield, even revealing that winning the Champions League was an incredible feeling for him. The 27-year-old is now in his fourth season with the Reds and will play an integral part in Liverpool breaking their 30-year top flight title drought.

Alongside Mohamed Salah and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Liverpool star Sadio Made also got his hands on the Golden Boot last season. The Senegalese capped off an incredible season, winning not just the Golden Boot but also winning the Champions League trophy. It was Mane's first major honour with the club, and the 27-year-old played a big role in the run-up to the final.

However, his form and ability has seen him garner a never-ending list of suitors including Real Madrid, where Zinedine Zidane is a self-proclaimed fan, Paris Saint-Germain and even Juventus. While all three have only been rumoured to be interested in a move for the 27-year-old, Mane has still gone on to confirm his future at Liverpool in an interview with Complex.

“To be honest, I’m really happy to be a part of the club, the family here. We have the best fans in the world here, so I’m always so thankful for the support. It’s not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform. It keeps us hungry to get better and better together… I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here!” said the Senegalese to Complex.

The apex of last season’s triumph for Liverpool was them lifting the Champions League crown for the first time since their win at Istanbul, beating Tottenham in the final. It was yet another game where Sadio Mane showcased just what he could do, although it did take goals from Divock Origi and Mohamed Salah to win the game for the Reds.

“It was a special moment for me, and for my teammates. When I was younger, I grew up watching Champions League – especially the finals. So it was always a dream to play in the final. After scoring in it the season before but losing, going on to win it is an incredible feeling. I could not believe it!. When we came back to Liverpool with the trophy, it was just incredible to discover how much it meant to the people here.

"The mood of the city was just crazy! Winning it and seeing how much it meant has given us all more motivation this season to perform, and win more trophies for this club," concluded Mane.
