Rani Rampal to lead Indian Women hockey team at World Cup
Hockey India has given Rani Rampal the responsibility to lead Indian Women hockey team at the World Cup in London next month. Coach Sjoerd Marijne has stated that all the members have worked hard and insisted that the selected 18-member squad is the best mixture to be successful at the World Cup.
Rampal will lead the 18-member India team for the Hockey Women’s World Cup to be played in London from July 21, Hockey India announced on Friday. The Indian Team has been placed in Pool B along with hosts and World No. 2 England, World No. 7 USA and World No. 16 Ireland.
