Action in the 9th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship 2019 (B Division) continued on Tuesday into its second day. The day saw Chhattisgarh Hockey, Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd and Bengal Hockey Association register victories in their respective Pool matches.

In Pool A, Chhattisgarh Hockey defeated Hockey Madhya Pradesh 5-1 as Sonu Nishad (10’, 24’, 31’), Sagar Yadav (7’) and Guman Sahu (14’) scored for Chhattisgarh Hockey, while Captain Shubham Lahoray (39’) scored the only goal for Hockey Madhya Pradesh.

In the second match of the day, Hockey Jammu and Kashmir beat Hockey Gujarat 6-2 in Pool A. Shoib Mughal (23’, 34’), Yugeshwer Rudar (57’, 58), Jagmeet Singh (43’) and Shivay Vaid (56’) scored for Hockey Jammu and Kashmir while Vikas Yadav (20’) and Akshay Thakor (47’) scored for Hockey Gujarat.

In Pool C, The Mumbai Hockey Association defeated Hockey Himachal 3-0 as Dharmendra Pal (4’), Akash Rai (25’) and Faizuddin Siddique (46’) scored for The Mumbai Hockey Association.Β 

In the other Pool C match, Bengal Hockey Association beat Goans Hockey 3-0 in Pool C. Rabind Nath Thakur (5’), Sujan Das (18’) and Amit Kumar Paswan (35’) scored for Bengal Hockey Association.

Pool C's last match of the day saw Hockey Patiala defeat Sports Authority of Gujarat - Hockey Academy 9-0 as Savraj Singh (18', 23', 37', 57'), Sehajbir Singh (7'), Arshdeep Singh (21'), Captain Bharat Thakur (27'), Swarnadeep Singh (49') and Bikramjit Singh (58') scored the goals.
