U Mumba will play in front of the home crowd for one final time later this evening when they will meet Tamil Thalaivas at the Dome @NSCI. Ajay Thakur and Fazel Atrachali will go head to head against each other which will be an exciting battle to watch out for tonight in PKL season 6.
U Mumba managed to win against Bengaluru Bulls quite convincingly in the end in spite of the Bulls trying hard to stage a come back in the second game of last evening. Mumba came on the mat without Siddharth Desai, Abhishek Singh and Rohit Baliyan but others stepped up to the occasion. Darshan Kadian was the top raider for them in the match while Iranian Abolfazl Maghsoudlou played well. Fazel Atrachali was as effective as always and Surender Singh had his second consecutive good game in this season with another High 5 to his name.
The Thalaivas played out a draw against Haryana Steelers and now they will be up against the leaders of Zone A. Ajay Thakur must be happy seeing his defence do well against the Steelers yesterday. Thakur didn’t have a great game in the previous one and will definitely want to get back to form. But the Tamil skipper will be up against Fazel Atrachali in the left corner of Mumba defence. Sukesh Hegde is another key player to watch out for along with all-rounder Manjeet Chhillar and corner defender Amit Hooda.
