Defending champions Patna Pirates will have a point to prove when they take on UP Yoddha in the first match of the day. They had lost the first match 48-26 against Tamil Thalaivas and would want to end the Zone B fixtures on a positive note.
For Patna, the baton has been carried by Pardeep Narwal and Manjeet Chhillar with 19 points between them so far. However, the rest of the players have been evidently subpar. Yoddha, on the other hand, would be brimming with confidence after beating Tamil Thalaivas in what looked like a team performance.
Unlike Patna, Yoddha wouldn’t want to make many drastic change to their line-ups and hope Rishank Devadiga gains back his form while raiding. Shrikant Jadhav too, has been erratic in his performance and the team would things start falling into place soon.
