Live PKL 2019 | Match 26: Puneri Paltan vs U Mumba
The Pune crowd will witness a Maharashtra Derby today as the Paltan is all set to host U Mumba in a Zone A encounter this evening. The first game between these two teams ended up in a 32-32 tie on the very first day of the tournament in Chennai with Pune making a stunning comeback in the game.
The Iranian coach-captain combination is proving to be beneficial for the U Mumba side as their defence has done extremely well so far in the league. Fazel Atrachali’s presence in the left corner has been the biggest positive for them along with their young raiders Siddharth Desai and Abhishek Singh. It is the only unbeaten side in Zone A and would want to continue as the same after the game as well.
The Girish Ernak-led side registered their first victory at home yesterday after beating Jaipur Pink Panthers last evening. They will try to better their records better against U Mumba and that will help them to go up on the points table as well. Their defence did extremely well in the last game and the raiding looks strong because of Nitin Tomar’s form so far. They would want to win another game at home which will make the Pune fans delighted once again.
