Telugu Bulls got the better of Mumbai Che Raje by 39-28 points in the ongoing IPKL on Monday while Haryana Heros scripted a big 10-point win against Pondicherry Predators. On the other hand, Pune Pride continued their great run in the tournament to beat Bangalore Rhinos by 40-33 points.

Telugu Bulls were not in the lead after the end of the first quarter against Mumbai Che Raje. Even in the next 10 minutes, they had a terrible outing which resulted in Mumbai having a lead of 17-14 lead at half-time. However, the Bulls ensured a brilliant comeback in the next two quarters with some phenomenal raiding show by Player of the Match Abhinandan Kumar to take the match by 39-28 points.

The second game of the day was also not a keenly-contested one as apart from the first quarter, Haryana Heros maintained their dominance throughout the game. At half-time, the scoreline read 22-21 in Haryana’s favour but by the end of the game, Pondicherry was outplayed completely. Haryana, eventually, won the game by 45-35 points.

Pune Pride’s excellent run in front of their home crowd continued on Monday as well despite getting off to a poor start against Bangalore Rhinos. The start was not great as the Rhinos had taken a 9-8 lead after the first 10 minutes of the game. Pune, however, had taken the lead by the end of the first half and also managed to maintain that till the end of the game. They won the match by a margin of seven points with Amarjeeth Singh starring again with nine raid points.
