Defending champions Patna Pirates will be in action against a strong Telugu Titans team in the first game of the second evening in Pune. It is expected to be a good battle between Pardeep Narwal and Abozar Mighani as both the teams would like to register a win to their name today.
After losing their opening game to Tamil Thalaivas, Patna Pirates have recovered well after that in the tournament and their skipper Pardeep Narwal has led from the front brilliantly for them. Telugu looks to be a very balanced team on the paper with raiders like Rahul Chaudhari and defenders like Abozar Mighani and skipper Vishal Bhardwaj in the team. They have all-rounder Mohsen who can also turn the game on his own on a given day. Chaudhari’s form is a concern for them and they would want him to do well against the Patna defence today. Nilesh Salunke has also performed so far in the tournament. After winning the first two games against Tamil Thalaivas and Bengal Warriors, the Titans suffered a defeat against Bengal Warriors in the previous encounter.
