PSG are looking to sell Neymar to Barcelona, but are demanding a huge sum and Barcelona aren't willing to match the terms that have been presented to them. This has seen any negotiations for a deal for the Brazilian come to a standstill, with neither side willing to back down from their demands.

According to Spanish news outlet Sport English, negotiations between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar remain open but have reached a point where the two sides cannot come to an agreement despite trying for hard to come to an agreement. The Ligue 1 champions are ready to let the world’s costliest player leave, but the club’s demands have not been agreed by Barcelona.

The latest news that has come out has revealed that PSG have asked for three players and a considerable sum of money in return for the former Barcelona man, but which three have not been revealed. That means that as of now, a potential deal for the star attacker looks highly unlikely.

Barca’s league rivals Real Madrid have also joined the race to have Neymar’s signature, despite Real Madrid having spent well over 250 million this season.  That does complicate a move for Neymar as it will obviously become another mega-money deal, with the Parisians looking to get some profit on the attacker. The report adds that PSG have informed the Blaugrana about the Rojiblancos’ interest, which has lead Barça to believe that PSG are acting tough and are trying to convince them that a deal for the superstar is verging on impossible.

It has been made clear that Nelson Semedo will not be included in any potential swap, especially since the French giants do not want the Portuguese full-back at all. Barcelona are wary of the terms that Madrid might offer but it seems evident that PSG doesn't want the 27-year-old to go back to Camp Nou, with relationships between the two sides deteriorating beyond any repair.
