Abu Dhabi: India's Ramit Tandon is proving more than a handful as he stormed into the final of the Abu Dhabi Open, a PSA world tour event here on Friday.

The third-seeded Indian fought his way past Shehab Essam of Egypt in four games 17-15, 6-11, 11-7, 11-2 in the semi-final.

Elsewhere in Sandy Springs in USA, Mahesh Mangaonkar looked good to go far but Egyptian Ahmed Hosny, a qualifier stopped him at the quarterfinal stage in a fighting five-game tussle in the CAC Open, another PSA world tour event late on Friday.
