Roger Federer's loss to Kevin Anderson in the quarter-finals was easily the biggest upset of the tournament so far, but the Swiss ace has confirmed he is coming back next year. He further stated that his loss cannot be called 'unfinished business’ as he played good Wimbled campaign in past years.

Eight times Wimbledon champion Federer had to face disappointment in the quarter-finals when his clash against South African Kevin Anderson resulted in the World No. 2 losing after managing to win 34 consecutive sets. However, Federer hasn't been deterred by a 6-2, 7-6(5), 5-7, 4-6, 11-3 loss against Anderson, and sounded determined to come back next year as he missed out on conquering the coveted silverware.

“Yeah, of course the goal is to come back here next year. I wouldn't call it 'unfinished business’. I felt like I did some good business here in the past already so I'm alright. Just disappointed now,” said Federer.

This year made Federer's 20th appearance in Wimbledon. It's been 15 years since Federer won his first Wimbledon title and has effectively captured eight titles in his name. This year was a bid to land himself his ninth Wimbledon title. However, Federer is just planning on concentrating for the next year.

“I just love being around here. It's a good vibe. We have a good time as a family. I have great memories from here. My heroes all won here,”says Federer.

“It motivates me to do extremely well here because I don't want to sit here and explain my loss. That's the worst feeling you can have as a tennis player,” he added.
