Later on, during a media interaction, the Two-time Olympic medalist revealed that there is no championship on his mind other than the Olympics coming up in Tokyo 2020. Kumar is still toiling hard with just one thing in mind - An Olympic gold medal.

"I have won gold medals in all tournaments across the world. Every medal is important but Olympic holds a special place. I was very close to get it but could not. It keeps lingering in my mind.

"Efforts are always on to get the elusive gold in the next Olympics. I seek your blessings to win the Olympic gold for my country," added Kumar, who had earlier won bronze in Beijing 2008 and silver in London 2012.
