HIL 2015/16 – Punjab lift the crown for the first time with a dominating display
After two heartbreaks against Delhi and Ranchi in the last two finals of the Hockey India League (HIL), Mark Hager guided his team to their first trophy in his first season in charge. Youngster Armaan Qureshi put up a wonderful performance in the big game, as Punjab handed Ranchi a 6-1 defeat.

HIL 2016: Punjab crush Delhi to enter third successive final
Rookie forward Armaan Qureshi and Aussie Simon Orchard helped Punjab Warriors enter their third successive final in the history of the Hockey India League after defeating Delhi Waveriders 3-1 in the first semi-final at Ranchi today. Rupinder Pal Singh scored the only goal for Delhi through a drag-flick.

HIL 2016: Punjab Warriors seal semi-final berth with season’s first draw
Punjab Warriors displayed spectacular hockey today to come back from behind to finish their clash against Kalinga Lancers in a tie. The match which ended with four goals to each sides also marked the first draw of the 2016 HIL. With the win, Punjab Warriors became the second team to qualify for the playoffs.
