Kidambi Srikanth on Thursday jumped four places in the Badminton World Federation Rankings to reach the fourth position, thanks to his Denmark Open title win. In the women's ranking, PV Sindhu continued to be at second place while Saina Nehwal managed to better her ranking from 12 to 11th position.

According to the latest BWF ranking which was released on Thursday, Kidambi Srikanth is now seeded fourth with 66923 points as he sits under Viktor Axelsen, Son Wah Ho, and Lin Dan, who are in the first three position.

In this season, 25-year-old Srikanth showed his brilliant form as he became the first Indian shuttler to reach four Super Series final in a year where he managed three titles. He is now one place away from matching his career-best ranking of third which he attained in 2015.

HS Prannoy also jumped two places up to achieve his career-best ranking at 12th position, whereas Sameer Verma also improved his ranking as he ranked 18th. Ajay Jayaram, however, has lost two places and slipped to the 23rd place.

Despite exiting Denmark Open early last week, Sindhu has managed to retain her second position in the women’s ranking. Saina Nehwal has jumped up a position to attain the 11th place.

In the mixed doubles rankings, Indian pair of Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Sikki Reddy climbed a spot to reach 16th position.
