Skipper MS Dhoni is concerned about the limited opportunities his batsmen have had on the tour of Zimbabwe even as India seem to be coasting to an easy whitewash over the host. Their eight-wicket victory in the 2nd ODI gave them an unbeatable lead in the series with the bowlers taking the cake.

After bundling out the Chevrons for 126 in the second ODI, MS Dhoni would certainly be happy with the way the bowlers have performed so far. Yet, in the post-match presentation ceremony, PTI reported that Dhoni has expressed concern about the limited chances the batsmen are getting on the tour so far.

"So far, only three of our top batsmen have got the chance to play. In the batting department we would like to make changes.

"We'll sit and discuss changes for the next game with Sanjay (Bangar). There's only so much players can do in only one game. We'll see who can we fit in the T20 squad and maybe we'll rest one of the bowlers," the captain said, reported PTI.

Dhoni credited his bowlers for the win, saying they did a great job of restricting them. At one point he thought that Zimbabwe would cross 200, but the spinners got the important breakthroughs at the right time. He also compared the win to the team's nine-wicket victory in the first ODI. “It was a different performance from the first game, slightly different pitch. Some of the shots played in the first 10 overs showed it was coming on to the bat nicely," Dhoni explained.

Dhoni has not had a single opportunity to bat in the series, with the visitors losing only three wickets so far. However, the skipper is not complaining too much about that, he said, "Most important thing is to win games and our batting when it comes to professionalism is right up there, even in the first game," to PTI.
