Over 1000 boys attend trials for the T10 Cricket League™ India

The franchise-based T10 Cricket league™ India was recently launched in Mumbai and more than 1000 boys from Maharashtra turned up for the trials at the Central Maidan in Thane on Saturday. The league will have eight teams which will contain non-first-class cricketers from across the country.

More than 1000 boys from Maharashtra turned up for the trials of season 1 of T 10 Cricket League™ India at the Central Maidan, Thane here on Saturday.  
The Franchise-based T 10 Cricket league™ India will comprise eight teams with non First Class cricketers from across the length and breadth of the country. 
Group A will include teams from Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan while Group B will witness teams from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka battle it out in the 16 -25 age group category.
   
Each team will play the other twice within their Group with two teams from each group qualifying for the semis followed by the final.The matches are likely to be telecast on a prominent Sports Channel, with whom talks are underway.The matches will be played with coloured clothing and white balls. There is no entry fees and team kits would be provided to each team by the League / Franchisee. 
This Cricket Ka Naya Toofani Andaaz - T 10 Cricket League™ India is a derivative of T 10 Gully Cricket founded by the Wadhwa brother in 2009. 
Ishant Sharma was the Brand Ambassador in season 1 while Riteish Deshmukh took up the mantle of Brand Ambassador during Season 2 with various Bollywood stars taking up ownership of the city teams. 
Divya Dutta (Ludhiana Gullies), Jimmy Shergill (Jalandhar Gullies), Prachi Desai (Surat Gullies), Rajpal Yadav (Kanpur Gullies) and Sanjay Dutt ( Sirsa Gullies) were in the forefront, cheering their respective teams. Rin ( HUL) was the presenting sponsor, while Pepsi was the beverage partner during season 1 in which eight teams participated and the host team Surat emerged champions beating Ludhiana in the grand finale in front of a jam-packed stadium with more than 20000 spectators. 
Season 2 was a bigger success with 17 teams playing under lights at the picturesque stadium in Sirsa with team Ludhiana lifting the trophy.
