The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators sacked BCCI media manager Nishant Jeet Arora for leaking dressing room information to former BCCI chief Anurag Thakur. Reportedly, a few senior cricketers had confronted Arora for trying to create a rift within the team.

The wind of change is blowing strongly across the BCCI, with Arora shown the exit after the sacking of Thakur and former secretary Ajay Shirke.

A report in the DNA newspaper quoted two unnamed senior Indian team members claiming that Arora was trying to create a rift in the dressing room and was leaking information to Thakur.

"Is he (media manager) there to make things easy for us or to irritate us? There is so much of mistrust between players about who is leaking our personal conversation to the outside world," an unnamed player told DNA.

"Media manager's job is to deal with the media but this guy (Arora) is all over the place... inside the dressing room, during team celebrations, in team discussions regarding playing eleven etc."

The report further said that a few senior members of the team had confronted Arora during India’s tour of the US last year, where they played West Indies in two T20Is. The player was unhappy that Arora was trying to create a misunderstanding between him and the coach.
