Tendulkar hails current Indian Cricket team

Sachin Tendulkar has heaped praise on the current Indian team, which has had a stellar run in Test cricket over the last two years and achieved the No.1 Test ranking as well. The legend has also said one shouldn’t compare players from different eras and should respect every generation's players.
Under the leadership of Virat Kohli, India have been in an imperious form and been unbeaten in their last 19 Tests. They will look forward to continuing that momentum in the four-match Test series against Australia starting on Thursday. Speaking at the Madras Motor Race Track here on Sunday, Tendulkar said, “I have always believed in this team. A long time ago I had said that this team is going to play together for a long long time to come and dominate world cricket,” reported The Hindu.Â
In the last one year or so, Indian lower middle-order batting has been a revelation. When the top-order batsmen have failed to get going, the tail-enders have taken the responsibility on their shoulders to pull India out of the woods. Two wicketkeepers Wriddhiman Saha and Parthiv Patel have done well after the retirements of Mahendra Singh Dhoni from Test cricket.Â
Praising them, Tendulkar said, “We have some amazing players. It is the right balance of having good all-rounders. There are batters who can bowl and bowlers who can bat. There are two wicketkeepers (Saha and Parthiv) who have gone out and scored runs. To be able to do that changes the balance of the team. We are seeing the results. It is all about preparation. Results always follow preparation and the preparation has been good. I am enjoying the way guys have played.”
On being asked if the current team under Virat Kohli can be called the best Indian side, Tendulkar said, “I think each era and generation played cricket differently and there were different styles. For this generation, I would say it’s a fabulous achievement. But when it comes to comparison, I don’t think we should pick a team from
