An acrobatic run-out is always a joy to behold, however, this is, even more, when it involves two fielders as opposed to one. During Sri Lanka’s ongoing Test match against Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe fielders Tarisai Musakanda and Malcolm Waller provided a perfect example of this to dismiss Dilruwan Perera.

Sri Lanka were already in all sorts of trouble in the first innings on day three of the ongoing Test match at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo by losing six wickets for 274 runs, trailing Zimbabwe's first innings total of 346 by 82 runs.

However, things got even worse for them as Dilruwan Perera and Asela Gunaratne got involved in a horrible mix up. In the 80th over of the Sri Lankan innings, Chris Mpofu bowled a short of length delivery outside off stump, which Gunaratne slashed to point and blindly took off without even bothering to look at Perera. With the Sri Lankan duo keeping close eyes on the ball, Tarisai Musakanda dived to his right and relayed the throw to Malcolm Waller who then completed the throw by handing it to the keeper Regis Chakabva. Chakabva made no mistake in dislodging the bails with Gunaratne nowhere in the frame.

Sri Lanka went on to be dismissed for 346 which gave Zimbabwe a 10-run-lead in the first innings.
