In an U-19 Women's One Day League match, conducted by BCCI, the Nagaland team collapsed for just two runs having played 102 deliveries. In response, the Kerala U-19 team didn’t have any trouble winning the game as they registered victory by ten wickets with an incredible 299 balls to spare.

The Nagaland women’s Under-19 cricket team created a unique and unwanted record when they were bowled out for just two runs by Kerala in a Group B match of the Women’s Under-19 One Day League on Thursday.

Opener Menka was the highest scorer for the Nagaland team with one run. The other run that was added to their score came from an extra - a wide ball bowled by Kerala. All the other players were out for ducks having faced a combined 102 deliveries. Kerala skipper Minnu Mani got her best bowling figures with four wickets with four maidens in her four overs.

In one of the most one-sided matches ever to be played in cricket, Kerala didn’t spend much time in handing an embarrassing defeat to Nagaland as Kerala opener Ansu Raju achieved the target on the first ball as she smashed a boundary after the defence had started with a wide.

Interestingly, there was another low-scoring match which was played between Bengal and Bihar in Group A. Bengal bowled Bihar out for just 21 runs. Bihar captain Sikha Singh was the highest scorer with 11 runs and seven players went sent packing for noughts. Bengal won the match by nine wickets.
