Weathermen have predicted that Bengaluru will be facing thundershowers in the next 24 to 48, which could potentially wash out the 4th India-Australia ODI. However, with Chinnaswamy Stadium's advanced technology to deal heavy rains, the curators are working to ensure that there are no interruptions.

The fourth ODI between India and Australia is going to be held on Thursday in Bengaluru, but the prediction of thundershowers in the next 24 to 48 hours has left everyone distressed. Many parts of the city had experienced heavy rain in the last 24 hours and the meteorological department has predicted a 54 mm of rainfall. According to PTI, the weathermen have reported that rains of moderate to heavy intensity will be incoming in next 24 to 48 hours.

At Chinnaswamy Stadium, the curators are leaving no stone unturned to keep the pitch dry in order to avoid a shortened game. The stadium also has an advanced technology to deal with such wet conditions, which helps in resuming the game shortly after a heavy downpour.

Rains have been continuously chasing the India vs Australia series with the second innings of the first game reduced to just 21 overs. In Kolkata, both teams were forced to practice indoors because of the unfavourable weather.

India beat Australia in the third ODI in Indore on Sunday and has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
