After managing to purchase a lot of youngsters at the auction last month, the franchise have started a three-day camp at the Cricket Club of India's Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. During the three days, the players will hone different aspects of their batting, bowling, and fielding by playing practice matches among each other. Yesterday, which was also the first day of the camp, the likes of Aryaman Birla, Mahipal Lomror, S Midhun, and Jatin Saxena participated in the role specification camp.

One of the most senior players, Ajinkya Rahane, after returning from India's tour of South Africa, also visited the camp and had an engaging discussion session with the youngsters. During the same time, team’s executive chairman Ranjit Barthakur discussed the plan with Rahane. After the completion of the camp on Thursday, 2008 Champions will be conducting three more camps in Jaipur and Mumbai. 

"Presently we are eagerly awaiting when the Rajasthan Cricket Association can hand over the stadium to us so that we can start with camps here. BCCI team has been visiting here to monitor the progress being made in the stadium.”
