India’s decision to omit Bhuvneshwar Kumar from the 2nd Test squad after his heroics in the first Test has left former cricketers fuming. The likes of VVS Laxman, Allan Donald, Vinod Kambli, and many more took to Twitter to criticize the management’s decision as India started poorly in Centurion.

India’s team selection for the second Test was the talk of the town after the pacers had displayed an encouraging display against South Africa in Newlands. With their bowling department pretty much settled, everyone was eagerly waiting for the side to make adjustments to their batting line-up with the places of Shikhar Dhawan in the opening slot and Rohit Sharma down the order.

However, India’s squad that came in to field at Centurion left everyone stunned. Though Dhawan's exclusions was predicted by many, the side didn’t show Bhuvneshwar. Apart from the brilliant six-wicket haul that the bowler had taken in the first Test, he was instrumental with the bat too, as he scored 38 runs in the entire match that was more than the likes of Kohli, Rohit, Murali Vijay, Dhawan and more.

While former players like Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar expressed their disappointment at the selection, others took to Twitter to do the same.
