IPL 2018 | Mitchell Starc ruled out of IPL with tibial bone stress

Kolkata Knight Riders have suffered a huge blow ahead with IPL just weeks away as their strike bowler Mitchell Starc was sidelined with a tribal bone stress. Now, in the absence of Starc, his compatriot Mitchell Johnson is likely to spearhead the attack for the two-time IPL champions in the league.
KKR already had the lightest squad among all the IPL sides this season and injury to their main bowler was the last thing they could imagine. The Kolkata-based franchise had just survived the early scare of losing Chris Lynn and Andre Russell to injuries and Sunil Narineās bowling being questioned again, and now they will have to find Starcās replacement in the eleventh hour.
Starc was bought by an insane amount of 9.4 crores by the Kolkata-based franchise and was expected to lead the bowling unit. But, now the pressure will come on the young players like Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi to deliver good performances for the team. However, the Kolkata team will be allowed to have a replacement for the pacer in their team.
