In the last two games against KKR and RR, MS Dhoni was seen in pain and has now revealed that he has been suffering from a back spasm. Dhoni is hardly seen struggling on the field and he has set the benchmark very high with his horse-like stamina, so his situation was concerning to the fans.

MS Dhoni is the epitome of fitness and strength. For him, age is just a number as he still sprints like an 18-year old on the cricket pitch. He is one fo the fittest cricketers in contemporary cricket but there are times when strongest of the cricketers do wear out. During the nerve-wracking encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, Dhoni’s side emerged victorious but his health took a toll.

Dhoni is hardly seen struggling on the field, but the last two games have showcased a disturbing sight where CSK skipper was seen fighting with some pain on the field. In their previous encounter against Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni was seen struggling with pain, which has been a rare view in his illustrous cricket career. In their run-chase against KKR, Dhoni was again attended by the team physio during his quickfire knock of 16. These are concerning signs for his fans, especially with the World Cup being around the corner.

Speaking after the KKR game, Dhoni was asked what was bothering him, “Got a back spasm. It's a bit tight right now, hopefully, it'll get better.”

Dhoni further spoke about the victory and said, “The bowling was very good and as a complete team we bowled really well. With Tahir getting us those timely wickets. Lynn had a good day but we kept taking wickets from the other end. We bat quite deep, so we have to take the chances. Depending on the opposition, we keep changing our plans. I wanted to go after the bowlers early and it paid off today. Me along with Raina, I think it was a good chase. There were a few soft dismissals today but if you get a start it's important to carry on and finish it off. You need to be there till the end. Overall it was a good performance by us.”
