Jofra Archer thought the only way to get rid of Steve Smith was to bounce him out and one such bouncer hit Smith's neck, the exact spot in which Phil Hughes was hit. Twitterati were raging after they saw Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler were seen sharing a smile following the incident.

Steve Smith had to walk back off the ground after a devastating Jofra Archer short ball hit him on the back of his neck after injuring his left-arm. It was Smith who shuffled across the stumps and by the time he was making himself ready to pull the bouncer, the ball came at a 92.4mph speed, making him floor. After realising that the former Aussie skipper had got a concussion on his head, the physios asked him to leave. However, Archer’s smile just after the incident didn’t go down well with Twitterati as they have proper hate for him on the microblogging site.

This is what happened!

Not cool England!

Jofra Archer, what have you done!?

Now that's scary!

Basic courtesy!

Unforgivable!

At least someone was cheering for Steve Smith!

Absolutely pathetic behaviour!

Arrogant?

That's concerning!

Double Standards narrative now?

The only way to get Steve Smith off the field!

All of a sudden this match has become interesting!

And he is back!
