David Warner has revealed that he has no intention to appeal for revoking his life ban from leadership positions as he feels that the decision of CA should be respected. Warner since his disastrous return in Ashes has been in fabulous form, having recently notched up a triple ton in Adelaide.

It’s almost been two years since the infamous sandpaper gate and now, things seem to be finally settling down for Australia opener David Warner. Warner was handed a year-long ban by Cricket Australia (CA) for his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal and was also slapped with a lifetime ban from taking up any kind of leadership position in any team that comes under the CA.

Warner has since returned to international cricket, having served his year-long ban, and despite having a forgettable Ashes where he scored a grant total of 94 runs, he got back to his best in the series against Pakistan, amassing 489 runs in the series, including a triple century.

When asked if he would appeal against the life ban from leadership positions, Warner replied otherwise. Warner pointed out that the decision should be respected and attested that he would “get on with it.”

“I was waiting for those questions - at the end of the day you just have to respect the decision and move on and get on with it," Warner was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald.

"I haven't looked back. I have just kept on looking forward. My job is to come out and score runs. As I said before, I didn't do well in England. It's about me trying to return to scoring runs and putting my best foot forward for the team."

While the ban restricts Warner from leading the Kangaroos and in the Big Bash League, the destructive opener has been leading Winnipeg Hawks in the Canada Global T20 and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Warner's next assignment will be a three-match Test series against the Kiwis, that will commence from December 12.
