Bharat Army have an assuring presence in Australia and in a T20 game last month, Indian fans outnumbered their Australian counterparts. Today, they made their presence felt in a loud way by paying tribute to Rishabh Pant with a beautiful song while trolling Australia’s incompetence on the field.

History repeats itself. The adage may have found many opponents, but Australia would surely vouch for it and may attest to the theory, today. In the 2010-11 Ashes,  Mitchell Johnson was on the receiving end of some banter from England's Barmy Army, which he later admitted that it took a toll on his performance and confidence.

“He balls to the left. He balls to the right. That’s Mitchell Johnson, his bowling is sh*te.” became the tagline for the Barmy Army in that Ashes, and it took three years for Johnson to silent them with his performance.

While Barmy Army was largely silent last year during the Ashes series, India's Bharat Army got into the action this year to pay tribute to Rishabh Pant while taking a subtle dig at the Australians. After Tim Paine and Rishabh Pant engaged in a hilarious chat on the field in the MCG Test, in which Paine asked Pant to babysit his kids as he wanted to go for a movie with his wife, his wife Bonnie Paine shared a picture of Pant babysitting the couple's kids during the team’s visit to Australian Prime Minister’s house in Sydney.

That worked as a feeder for the Bharat Army fans to create their own version of Arsenal's MesutMesut Ozil chant, which goes like this.

“We've got Pant... Rishab Pant... I just don't think you'll understand... He'll hit you for a six... He'll babysit your kids... We've got Rishab Pant”
