Pakistani great Waqar Younis has questioned the Indian Team after their loss against England that indirectly put Pakistan’s semi-finals in a limbo. Dhoni and Jadhav received severe criticism for not showing enough intent in the death overs, with India eventually losing without putting up a fight.

Waqar Younis has questioned Virat Kohli’s men's sportsmanship after their defeat to England, which also happens to be their first of this tournament. Dhoni and Jadhav’s approach in the last four overs raised questions from many as India only managed 306 while chasing a challenging target of 338, losing just 5 wickets in the process.

“It’s not who you are…What you do in life defines who you are…Me not bothered if Pakistan gets to the semis or not but one thing is for sure…Sportsmanship of few Champions got tested and they failed badly,” Waqar wrote on Twitter.

This was India’s first defeat in the World Cup, which has put Pakistan’s chances making it to the semi-finals in jeopardy. If England win their next game against New Zealand, they will be through to the semi-finals while a defeat against India would have boosted Pakistan's chances.

Former Pakistan cricketers Basit Ali and Sikander Bakht had also claimed that India deliberately lost to England in order to end Pakistan’s run in the World Cup.
